Norton Rose Fulbright continues its expansion efforts in South Africa with the recent onboarding of a partner from Clyde & Co, marking another addition in the firm’s targeted hiring spree that commenced in November 2021.
As of the 1st of December, Ina Iyer, previously of Clyde & Co, joined Norton Rose Fulbright to take the role of director in the insurance team – a position equivalent to partner. This was confirmed by Norton Rose Africa’s newly-appointed CEO, Brent Botha, in a recent communication.
Fulbright’s hiring strategy is designed to ensure a roster of seasoned, yet comparatively younger lawyers. The long-term goal of this approach is to guarantee service provision capability in favor of the firm’s clients for years, and even decades, to come, as conveyed by the firm’s CEO.
