Bankruptcy Judge Approves $2.1 Million in Fees for Foley & Lardner LLP in LeClairRyan Case

A Virginia-based bankruptcy judge recently gave approval to nearly $2.1 million in fees to law firm Foley & Lardner LLP. The fees arise from the firm’s legal work on the bankruptcy case of LeClairRyan, once a flourishing law firm that is now defunct. The approved fees were granted to Foley & Lardner LLP upon their agreement to end their fee dispute with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP. Quinn Emanuel succeeded Foley as counsel to the Chapter 7 trustee in the LeClairRyan case.
