Legalpioneer Copilot Unveils 600 Law-Related GPTs for ChatGPT Plus Users

On November 6, OpenAI rolled out a new feature allowing any user with a ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise account to create custom versions of ChatGPT, otherwise known as GPTs. The AI organization had plans to launch the GPT Store to enable sharing of these resources but has since delayed its release.

In the meantime, for those seeking law-related GPTs, Amsterdam-based Raymond Blyd, co-founder of LegalPioneer and CEO of Legalcomplex, has uncovered nearly 600 legal GPTs which he has compiled and made searchable in a new resource called Legalpioneer Copilot.

These GPTs cover an array of legal, regulatory, and tax matters and could potentially serve as a useful tool for academics, professionals, and businesses. The site allows users to search for GPTs by name, description, or topic. To use any of the GPTs, users must have a ChatGPT Plus subscription, currently priced at $20 per month.

It should be noted that while a broad range of law-related GPTs are available, their reliability for providing legal advice may vary. Creation credentials and methods are often unlisted, leaving users uncertain of the source and credibility of the information. Some links pointing to the creators’ websites can be found, however, these are often less than illuminating.

The Divorce Navigator GPT, for example, was created by a legal web design firm, and several other GPTs were created by a company called LegalNOW, which helps users create legal documents with the assistance of AI technology.

Even with these stipulations, Blyd believes the Legalpioneer Copilot resource provides a valuable way to discover and explore these GPTs. As evidence, he cited one user who alone created over 100 of these legal GPTs. Blyd likens the site to a RadioShack for creating legal agents, offering ideas and components necessary for building custom legal GPTs.

Looking to the future, Blyd intends to further develop Legalpioneer Copilot by adding features such as sorting GPTs by countries, segments and areas, and including translations of descriptions into English.
