As a New Year dawns, several multinational corporations and organizations are heralding fresh changes within their legal departments. Among those amplifying their legal firepower with new top lawyers are titans such as Walmart and various pioneers of generative artificial intelligence.
Former WWE General Counsel, Beth Collins, is a notable mention among the new in-house legal hires. Collins will be leading the regulatory and specialty legal functions at Walmart, under the leadership of Chief Legal Officer, Rachel Brand. With a robust legal career, Collins brings to the table her expertise as a regulatory lawyer, honed through her tenure in the U.S. Justice Department. In addition to serving as the assistant attorney general for legal policy, her past roles include being the compliance chief at Caterpillar and lead counsel at Boeing.
