On Friday, a Virginia federal judge dismissed the request for a partial summary judgment from cybersecurity firm, Centripetal Networks. The company is involved in a patent suit against Palo Alto Networks Inc., a widely recognized cybersecurity software company. Centripetal Networks alleges that its patents are infringed upon by Palo Alto’s technological use.
The court denied this request as they have identified a substantive dispute regarding the legitimacy of the contested claim for the patent. Whether the patent claim is valid or not is a matter of significant contention. Click here for more information.
