Prior to this, Roland contributed his expertise as a trial attorney and lead counsel in the Civil Division, National Courts Section, at the Justice Department. His tenure at the Justice Department amplified his already robust legal experience and is likely to enrich his contributions at Finnegan.
Before his focus shifted to public sector legal duties, Roland had experience dealing with legal complexities that encompass an array of mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies. Adding to his legal acumen, he spent some time working under Judge Alvin A. Schall at the Federal Circuit.
