Monster Energy has dropped its trademark and trade dress infringement lawsuit against Beast Cookie, as confirmed by an order by a California federal judge. Monster Energy had alleged that Beast Cookie employed branding that was confusingly similar to its own in advertising its caffeinated cookies. The contentious branding elements included a green colour scheme and the phrase “untamed energy”.
