Additionally, Welty served as vice-chairman on the board of directors for the West Virginia Jobs Investment Trust, highlighting his commitment to West Virginia’s economic growth. This public venture capital fund was established by the West Virginia Legislature, indicating the state’s proactive approach to industry investment and job creation.
