Cooley Law Firm Surpasses Revenue Records Amidst Tech Sector Turbulence

In a period of uncertainty for the technology sector in 2023, law firm Cooley achieved an impressive balance in practice and surpassed previous revenue records. As reported by Law.com, the firm’s revenue climbed 1.4% to a new high of $2.03 billion.

Despite facing what Cooley chair Joe Conroy described as “the crappiest market we have seen in a long time,” the firm managed to have its second most profitable year, ranking just behind the boom year of 2021. In terms of profits per equity partner, the firm generated an impressive $3.54 million in 2023, an increase of 8.2% from the prior year.

By maintaining a balanced focus amidst technology sector struggles, Cooley managed to succeed even as it faced a challenging market landscape. This drive and adaptability undoubtedly played a key role in the firm’s achievement of these significant financial milestones.
