Perkins Coie Reports Growth Amid Expansion Plans in Shenzhen and London

In what has been described as a year of “difficult decisions,” law firm Perkins Coie has reported a 4% growth in revenue and a rise of 7.6% in profits per equity partner (PEP). The firm closed its office in Shanghai early this year amid these financial changes, but showed no intention of slowing its expansion efforts just yet.

Bill Malley, the firm’s chair, disclosed the firm’s intent to establish an office in Shenzhen. Additionally, Perkins Coie is reportedly considering a launch in London, where it would aim to highlight its proficiencies in intellectual property (IP), litigation, and privacy.

These plans point to the firm’s strategic adjustments and resilience, even in a year marked by difficult decisions and challenges.
