A North Carolina-based law firm, Cranfill Sumner, has made its debut in Washington D.C., opening an affiliate office. The firm has turned notable heads in the field by hiring a senior Securities and Exchange Commission official to helm their white-collar defense practice.
Cranfill Sumner divulged on Wednesday that Christina Zaroulis Milnor, a seasoned former assistant secretary of the Securities and Exchange Commission, will act as the pioneer of a new affiliate boutique group. The freshly named group, Mincey Bell Milnor, is based in Washington D.C.
Ms. Milnor comes with an impressive track record and will work alongside dedicated white-collar defense partners from Cranfill Sumner. Patrick Mincey and Stephen Bell will be integral team members, along with an associate and of-counsel lawyer. This highly-specialized team will fortify the five-lawyer D.C. outfit.
