On Wednesday, Florida, New York, and the District of Columbia linked arms with Tennessee and Virginia in their ongoing antitrust lawsuit against the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The amalgamation of states are challenging the NCAA’s policies pertaining to name, image, and likeness rights of players.

These policies have been a contentious issue, as they inhibit student athletes from benefiting financially from their own likeness.
