White & Case Strengthens International Trade Practice with Former DOJ Official David Lim

White & Case has bolstered its international trade practice with the recruitment of David Lim, a former official from the U.S. Department of Justice. Lim joins as a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to his new role, Lim served as co-director of Task Force KleptoCapture, an interagency initiative focused on enforcing sanctions, export restrictions, and economic countermeasures associated with the U.S. response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Lim’s extensive experience in navigating complex international trade regulations will likely enhance White & Case’s ability to advise clients on compliance and enforcement issues.
