Blank Rome Expands Maritime Group with New Partner Luke Reid in Boston Office

Luke Reid has joined Blank Rome as a partner with the firm’s maritime group and as a member of its transportation industry team in Boston, according to the firm’s announcement Monday. Reid, a former US Coast Guard officer, brings a wealth of experience advising clients on both international and domestic maritime regulatory compliance. He also represents maritime clients in government investigations and various forms of litigation.

Reid’s practice involves representing maritime companies before multiple agencies, including the US Coast Guard, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Labor, and the Justice Department. This appointment marks a significant expansion of Blank Rome’s maritime group capabilities in the Boston area.

Before joining Blank Rome, Reid was with K&L Gates. His extensive background and experience in maritime law are expected to enhance Blank Rome’s services and provide strong regulatory and litigation support to its clients.
