Amir Ghaffari Joins Alston & Bird as Partner, Strengthening London’s International Arbitration Team

Amir Ghaffari has been appointed as a partner at Alston & Bird, joining the firm’s international arbitration and dispute resolution team in London. As announced on Monday, Ghaffari will bring his extensive experience in counseling multinational corporations, state-owned entities, financial institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals on complex international commercial and construction arbitration matters.

Ghaffari’s client portfolio spans a wide array of stakeholders, including owners and developers, EPC and EPCM contractors, engineers, major equipment suppliers, and insurers. This addition to Alston’s team underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its position in the high-stakes international arbitration arena.

In tandem with Ghaffari’s arrival, Alston also welcomed Julia-Didon Cayre as incoming counsel. Cayre is known for advising clients on commercial proceedings under the rules of major arbitral institutions, further enhancing the team’s capabilities.
