Among the nation’s 350 largest law firms by attorney headcount, 223 have reported the number of self-identified LGBTQ+ associates, partners, and attorneys of other ranks at their firms. Notably, a new entrant has topped the LGBTQ+ Scorecard, which ranks firms by representation from these groups.
New York litigation boutique Selendy Gay Elsberg ranks first, with just over 15% of its attorneys self-identifying as being on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Jenner & Block follows in the second slot, with more than 14%. Washington, D.C.-based environmental law firm Beveridge & Diamond and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton tie for the third slot, each with nearly 10% representation.
