In a recent development, a New York federal judge has ruled that a young producer did not successfully allege copyright infringement concerning HBO’s reality shows “Fake Famous” and “FBoy Island.” The producer claimed that these shows were derivative of his concept “Instafamous.” However, the judge noted that the flaws in these allegations could potentially be addressed ( Law360).
