David Studdert Named Stanford University Vice Provost and Dean of Research

In September 2023, David Studdert, an acclaimed professor of law and health policy, assumed the role of vice provost and dean of research at Stanford University. Studdert, known for his expertise in health law and empirical legal research, has been with Stanford’s School of Medicine and the legal academia for several years. Prior to this new appointment, he served as the senior associate vice provost of research.
