Rocket Matter Launches NextGen: A Customizable Cloud-Based Solution for Modern Law Firms

The law practice management software Rocket Matter has introduced an updated version of its platform, Rocket Matter NextGen. This newly reimagined product emphasizes flexibility and customization, aimed at meeting the diverse requirements of various law firms and practice areas.

Originally launched in 2008, Rocket Matter was among the pioneers of cloud-based law practice management systems. In 2020, it was acquired by ProfitSolv, a company that also owns other legal tech products like CosmoLex, TimeSolv, Tabs3, and Orion.

Creating a custom view in the new Rocket Matter.

“Since Rocket Matter introduced the first cloud-based legal PMS back in 2008, it’s been a force in the industry for helping lawyers become more tech-forward and achieve the efficiency needed to grow revenue and scale business,” said Ajay Khatri, general manager of Rocket Matter. “This modern platform was developed directly from feedback and conversations with lawyers who gave us insight into how to make their professional lives easier.”

Rocket Matter NextGen retains all the existing platform features, such as timekeeping, accounting, payments, and matter management, but has been updated to reflect the modern needs of law firms. Enhanced integration with QuickBooks Online and SOC 2 compliant security are some of the new features, along with robust customer support.

One of the key enhancements to Rocket Matter NextGen is its flexibility. The platform offers customizable matter workflows and in-dashboard and report views tailored to specific practice areas. These improvements aim to simplify implementation, learning, and usage for law firms of all sizes.

The revamped platform is designed to facilitate both Mac and PC users and supports desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Additional details can be found in this LawNext article.
