The crypto mining company behind the largest Bitcoin hosting facility in North America, Whinstone US Inc., has initiated a multimillion-dollar securities fraud lawsuit in a Texas state court. The lawsuit targets joint venture partners—Imperium Investment Holding LLC, Rhodium Enterprises Inc., and their officers—accusing them of forming entities to divert revenue from the crypto mining company.

A team of Am Law 100 firm partners at Foley & Lardner, led by Robert T. Slovak, represents Whinstone US Inc. in the litigation. Commenting on the dispute, Ishmael Green, a partner at Diaz Reus and a cryptocurrency expert who is not involved in this case, noted, “The key takeaway is to craft better agreements.”
