Latham & Watkins, Goodwin Procter, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett have emerged as leaders in private equity and venture capital activities for the first half of 2024, according to recent league tables. The findings, reported by the London Stock Exchange Group, indicate that while private equity activity remained relatively subdued compared to the high marks of 2021 and 2022, it is on par with activity levels from 2018 to 2020. For advisors to companies being bought or sold, Latham led all law firms in total round value across all private equity stages.
