In a strategic move to bolster its government contracts transactions practice, Holland & Knight has enlisted David Dowd and Timothy Kobes as partners. Dowd will be stationed in Tysons, Virginia, while Kobes will operate from the New York office, according to the firm’s announcement Tuesday.
Both Dowd and Kobes bring extensive expertise in guiding clients through regulatory and compliance concerns associated with government grants and procurements. They will also handle dealings with various US government bodies, as well as foreign governments and intergovernmental organizations.
David Dowd transitions to Holland & Knight from Potomac Law Group, whereas Timothy Kobes joins from Wilson Sonsini. Their addition is seen as a significant enhancement to Holland & Knight’s capability in managing complex government contracts.
