In a strategic move to bolster its project development and finance practice, Latham & Watkins has announced the recruitment of Jonathan Katz as a partner in their Houston office. Katz, who previously served at King & Spalding, brings extensive experience in representing owners and developers in the drafting and negotiation of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts. These include long-term service agreements, as well as operations and maintenance agreements, for a range of domestic and international projects across various sectors such as oil and gas, LNG, power, petrochemical, and energy transition.
