Federal Appeals Court Rejects Composer’s Copyright Claim Against Procter & Gamble’s Febreze Jingle

The Second Circuit on Tuesday rejected an appeal from a New York composer who alleged that Procter & Gamble’s advertisement jingle for Febreze appropriated five notes from a song he composed in the 1980s.
