Google and Kove IO Inc. have reached a settlement concerning claims that Google infringed upon three patents held by the Chicago-based software company. These patents are associated with cloud storage technologies. The settlement follows proceedings in an Illinois federal court, resolving a conflict reminiscent of Kove’s legal battle with Amazon, which resulted in a $673 million jury award, plus interest, for Kove.
