Appellate lawyer and SCOTUSblog publisher Tom Goldstein has requested a Maryland federal judge to allow him to substitute three South Carolina properties as collateral for his pretrial release, in lieu of his Washington, D.C., home. This request comes as Goldstein faces charges of tax evasion and mortgage fraud.
