Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has announced the return of Joseph (“Joe”) Andolina to its investment management group as a partner in the Philadelphia office. Andolina rejoins the firm after serving as Chief Risk Officer at Aberdeen Inc., where he also held the position of U.S. Counsel for four years. His legal career began at Faegre Drinker in 2008 as an associate in the investment management group in Philadelphia.
Andolina brings extensive experience in advising on matters related to investment advisers and funds, with a deep understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. His background includes counseling on portfolio management, trading, distribution, and operational issues for registered investment advisers, closed-end funds, and open-end funds. He also has experience leading risk and compliance diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
