Law360 Unveils 2026 Editorial Calendar to Recognize Legal Excellence and Emerging Trends

As the legal industry looks ahead to 2026, Law360 has unveiled its comprehensive editorial calendar designed to spotlight the achievements of top attorneys and law firms. The publication’s series of awards and surveys serve as essential benchmarks for legal professionals and provide insights into emerging trends and top performers across various practice areas.

A cornerstone of Law360’s offerings is its quarterly roundup of attorney promotions. Firms are encouraged to submit their promotions, focusing on those elevated to partner roles, excluding lateral or nonpartner-level positions. The deadline for submissions is January 9, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET, providing firms a valuable opportunity to showcase their internal growth.

In addition, Law360 is seeking members for its 2026 editorial advisory boards. This initiative invites avid readers to engage in discussions and provide feedback on enhancing the publication’s coverage. Subscribers to the relevant Law360 publications are eligible to participate, with the deadline for submissions to be announced in early 2026.

The annual law firm survey is another significant aspect of the editorial calendar, offering an in-depth analysis of the law firm market. The survey targets U.S.-based firms with at least 20 attorneys and international firms with over 50 attorneys in the U.S. Results will contribute to key rankings like the Law360 Pulse Leaderboard and the Social Impact Leaders rankings, with details to be released in early 2026.

Law360 continues its efforts to highlight global law firms with a notable presence, urging submissions that detail a firm’s international footprint, including office locations, attorney counts, and global revenue. Data gathered will contribute to various reports and graphics throughout the year.

The Titans of the Plaintiffs Bar series celebrates influential members of the plaintiffs bar who have achieved significant milestones. Submissions are due by February 20, 2026, and the series will tentatively publish in mid-May. Meanwhile, the Rising Stars series, set for its 17th year, seeks top legal talent under 40, with nominations due by April 3, 2026, and publication beginning in June.

Law360 also plans to profile firms with a strong regional presence through its Regional Powerhouses series. Focusing on significant litigation victories and key transactions, firms can submit until May 8, 2026, with the series publishing in August.

The MVPs of the Year series will highlight attorneys with notable victories and contributions to their practice areas, with a publication start date in October after submissions due by July 10, 2025.

Law360’s longstanding Practice Groups of the Year series aims to celebrate groups handling pivotal cases or major deals. Submissions are due by October 9, 2026, with publication scheduled for January 2027.
