Andrew Fay Joins Greenberg Traurig, Strengthening Government Law Practice in Florida

Greenberg Traurig has expanded its government law and policy practice in Tallahassee by appointing Andrew Giles Fay as of counsel. Fay brings a wealth of experience from his tenure on the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC), where he served for eight years, including a term as chairman from 2022 to 2024. During his time at the PSC, Fay oversaw regulatory matters concerning electric, gas, water, and wastewater utilities.

Prior to his role at the PSC, Fay was special counsel to then-Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. In this capacity, he provided legal guidance on various issues pertinent to the state’s legal framework.

Greenberg Traurig’s decision to bring Fay on board aligns with the firm’s ongoing strategy to enhance its capabilities in government law and policy. This move follows other recent appointments, such as the addition of leading antitrust litigator Bill Katz as Global Co-Chair of the Antitrust Litigation & Competition Regulation Practice in May 2025, and the expansion of its litigation practice with the addition of Eric W. Moran in April 2025.

Fay’s appointment is expected to bolster Greenberg Traurig’s presence in Florida’s legal landscape, particularly in areas intersecting with government regulation and policy.
