Danielle Tully, a veteran first-chair IP trial lawyer based in New York, previously served as co-chair of Cadwalader’s Global Litigation and Intellectual Property Groups. She brings extensive experience in high-stakes patent, trade secret, copyright, trademark, and other commercial cases, particularly within the tech and life sciences industries, including medical device technologies. Tully holds a degree in biology, providing her with a solid foundation for handling complex scientific matters in litigation.
Joining Tully is Mike Powell, an experienced litigator who has collaborated with her for 13 years. Powell has a robust track record in U.S. patent districts, advising clients on intricate IP disputes. His background in biology complements his legal expertise, enabling him to navigate the nuanced intersections of science and law effectively.
In Los Angeles, Orrick has added Josh Glucoft, a former partner at Kirkland & Ellis. Glucoft specializes in litigating patents across fields such as electrical engineering, computer science, and medical device technologies, representing clients in both District Court and the International Trade Commission. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering, enhancing his ability to address technical complexities in IP litigation.
