Ing Loong Yang, a partner from the Hong Kong division of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, has left his position to open a new chapter in his career as an independent arbitrator and mediator. With a wealth of experience in handling a variety of disputes, Yang’s work primarily revolved around China-related matters, covering areas such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, shareholder issues, and joint ventures. His representation for clients spanned across several international arbitrations under rules of various arbitral institutions including, but not limited to, CIETAC, SIAC, ICC, HKIAC, and UNCITRAL.
