Intellectual property strategy and transactions firm Transpacific IP is seeking sanctions against Slingshot Technologies LLC. Transpacific IP has petitioned the Delaware Chancery Court to impose sanctions exceeding $400,000 on Slingshot Technologies. The sanctions are being sought in response to what Transpacific IP describes as “fabricated allegations” made by Slingshot Technologies in a lawsuit that ultimately failed. This lawsuit was regarding the sale of network patents belonging to Orange SA by Transpacific IP.
